Dr Inderjit Singh undertook residency in Moorfields Eye Hospital,London in 1979 till 1982 and obtained the FRCS in Ophthalmology in in London 1980. He obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Ophthalmology in 1994. Dr Singh is one of the pioneers in small incision phacoemulsification cataract surgery in Australia. He has been actively involved in the teaching and transfer of surgical skills in phacoemulsification small incision cataract surgery, both here in Australia and overseas. Dr Singh has conducted several workshops here and abroad, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and India. From mid 1982 till 1999, Dr Singh was in private practice at Coffs Harbour (NSW) specialising in cataract surgery and general ophthalmology. Since this time he has practiced both in Chatswood,Sydney and Coffs Harbour specialising in Cataract surgery and anterior segment surgery. Dr Singh's special interest is in small incision cataract surgery- especially sub 2.2mm micro-coaxial phaco cataract surgery. |
